A renovation of a mid-century beach bungalow on the Great South Bay. The renovation opened the central core of the house to create a long view through the main living spaces to the bay beyond. The form of the original roof plane was exposed and re-supported to accentuate its floating appearance. Two horizontally sided secondary spaces serve to frame the bay view as well as to keep the less public functions out of the way.
Larson and Paul provided architectural services. Decorating by Mark Schryver. Contracting by Richard Coyne, Builder.
